RMBC exists to embrace the kingdom of God on earth through our witness, work and the proclamation of the Word. Our goal is to provide each member with an opportunity to serve and share their gifts, skills and talents to help build the church and develop relationships within the body of Christ.
Mission Statement
We believe that we are one body in Christ created to provide love, kindness, and understanding to our community through the teachings of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible will be our guide for prayer, worship, teaching, and serving our congregation and community.
Sunday School
10:00 a.m.
God’s Word is taught in Sunday School each week, encouraging members to grow and develop in Christian character and fellowship through study and Christian education in the Holy Bible.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God.” (II Timothy 2:15)
Outreach Ministries
RMBC doesn’t just minister inside the building, so if you are looking for a way to reach out into the community, here are some of the ministries that are offered:
Nursing Home
Bi-Monthly
RMBC visits Nursing Homes to spread the Word so that those who are unsaved may be inspired to come to Jesus and those who have met Him will grow in their faith.
Hospital
RMBC visits hospitals to see sick members/individuals. The ministry cares enough to take the time to make visits to dialogue, pray with and show individuals that God and the church cares.
Jail Ministry
RMBC arranges for visits to jails for worship services and programs such as Bible Study in Oakland and Wayne County.
Youth Ministry
Chairperson: Jean Lumpkins
Youth Mentors: Janae and Asia Coleman
RMBC youth ministry energizes, equips and enables our youth to be the best that they can be and to glorify God in all that they do. The ministry trains young people to have the mind of Christ, to gain knowledge of the Word and to grow in the wisdom of the Lord. Inside and outside church activities includes holiday performances during church service, children’s Sunday school, field trips, and visits to other congregation sites
